Getting diabetes as an adult is a grim possibility for those people carrying too much extra weight. People suffering from diabetes are increasing in number and they have to manage all the health problems that are bundled in with it.

Many people don't know that diabetes is a major cause of going blind. Another major problem linked to diabetes is kidney disease.

Add to this the fact that you are four times more likely to get heart disease or suffer a stroke if you get diabetes and it isn't appealing.

Erection problems are also associated with fat.

High blood cholesterol and high blood pressure  are also more common with people who are overweight.

When you lose only a small bit of weight it can have a huge positive effect on your health. And by doing that you can severely reduce the chances of health problems further down the line.

Being fat can also mean you snore as when you lie horizontal fatty tissue in the throat can block your breathing. Because of this you don't sleep well and this leads to your energy levels dropping the following day.

Just a little fat loss considerably lowers snoring leading to quality sleep and thus more energy.

A risk with over tiredness is that you eat more than needed while attempting to replenish their energy. A double whammy, so take note of all the benefits losing some extra fat can bring you.

Looking good shouldn't be your only consideration when trying to exercise to lose fat. You should think of that as a side benefit to actually improving your health. Being healthy and being attractive do not always go hand in hand. Clothing, make-up or even surgery can help you achieve this. But think about this - Can your beauty save your health as you get older?
