Guess the amount of money spent on dieting products each year? Brace yourself!
The answer is sixty billion dollars. Think about how much this is! My goodness!
This goes to show you two things. First, millions of people around the globe are hoping to lose weight. And second, these people are so eager to drop some pounds that they are willing to spend their money as a way to try to get faster results.
Sadly, a great deal of these products are outright scams. Usually these "scams" come in two different forms. Either the pill or program just doesn't work, or the cost of the product is ridiculously high.
For example, I was browsing through Costco the other night and found a diet product that was selling for $69.99. It had a flashy label, great design and lots of promises about the results it can deliver.
Was was it? It was just green tea extract pills......
Ok - green tea extract can be somewhat helpful in losing weight, however, don't think for a second these pills are worth $70.
Actually, I found a bottle of supplements with the EXACT same ingredients, but it was just being sold as green tea extract and not as a weight loss product.
Guess how much it was? A giant $6.99.
Sadly, the people selling the expensive pills is simply taking advantage of overweight people's emotions and pushing their product with aggressive marketing. And unfortunately, many people fall for it.
And trust me, this pill alone will never give you a significant boost in your weight loss plans. It might help a touch, but it definately isn't the solution to weight loss.
The best diet pills or best weight loss supplements don't just have one ingredient. Seek out a product that uses a good number of different ingredients or herbs. This provides your body a variety of tools that it can make use of to drop the weight off.
I should mention, I don't want you to read this and think that no product is worth $69.99. Truthfully, there are some great diet pills that are in this price range. {However,But} I promise you that the best products don't just have one ingredient in them.
